Jonathan worked at BIS (formerly DTI) for a number of years in various technical architect roles, particularly related to remote access solutions but also developing into an enterprise-wide role. He has deep technical knowledge and understanding and is able to translate this into focused advice for an organisation to meet its objectives. He can be relied upon to give evidence-based advice not tainted by political influence. His early work was an important contribution to delivery of a cutting-edge Citrix-based remote access solution. His latter role as enterprise systems architect was based more on analysis and advice than delivery and suited him well. He only left BIS because of changes in Government policy around contracting and, if we had been permitted, we would have retained his services.
